As he shuts off the feed, there's the faint sound of something German-sounding. Or maybe it was just static.]

[Horst is there a few minutes later, and since it's late he knocks softly and just hopes Break is close enough to hear.]

[Break's movement is enough to wake her up. She follows behind him, though at a safe distance, as if making sure that it's alright to be in the kitchen with them.

It was a really nice sleep.]

[Horst enters the home, and smiles at Break. He'd been about to speak, but he heard Katara and peered over Break's shoulder at her, motioned her closer.]

I didn't wake anyone did I?

No, no. She's just had a bit of a week, so I promised her a splash of brandy in her tea.

[He goes to put the kettle on, and to pour Horst a generous glass of the stuff.]

I think most of us had a bit of a week, Break. [But she's smiling sleepily at the both of them, lifting a hand to greet Horst. She lingers briefly by the table.]

Do you need any help with the tea?

She needs to be treated normally for a bit. But you- [louder] -what has you joining us tonight, Horst?

[Horst rubbed his jaw, and glanced back at Katara, then at Break.]

I have a weakness for brandy. Even better when it's with tea and good company.

I've never had brandy. My dad used to get sake from the trading ships that would come through back at home, and I had a little wine when your bar opened, Horst, but that's been about it.

[She folds her arms on the table, glancing to Break.]
