[Horst is sitting on the wall, and he lies back and sets the PCD down behind him. It can catch sight of the moon overhead and, sometimes, Horst's hands. Sewing.]
You know, it's summer and I'm sleeping quite a bit more--consider it my hibernation period. But that's really not much of an excuse not to get to know all these newcomers, especially with so many people leaving....
I'm Horst Cabal. I run a bar, sometimes. I'm going to start a school--everyone is welcome to attend or teach a class.

Thanks. I think I needed that.
[And she'd feel ashamed or weak to admit it to anyone else but not to him. It feels natural to say that to Horst because he know how she feels.]
Can we walk a bit?
no subject
[He keeps an arm around her as they walk.]
Dean, if you've met him, wants to organize a night hunt for meat. I told him I'd help. And I might have told him that having you there would help me.

[She has many other things to discuss with him but she's kinda stalling right now.]
no subject
[He nudges her]
Your turn.
no subject
[She huffs.] I know. I was the one to suggest this talk. ...I simply don't know where to start. [Castiel? Raphael? ...The Animus?]
no subject
Start at the beginning, Spatzi.
no subject
You know Castiel, right?
We've been allies for some time. Because he's the only one, among the angels, who's really standing against Lucifer. I trust him despite all I've been hearing about him. But he's been close to dying twice over the past four days and... if Lucifer learns that he's been talking to me, it might get worse.
And now, Raphael is... joining the party.

How does an angel come close to death?
no subject
[She looks up at him.] Didn't you already see an angel die?
no subject
Yes. I don't know what happened to her, though; they're very...picky about who they tell things to.
Did you believe in angels back home?
no subject
Castiel told me. It was an accident.
[A pause.] On Azarath, they called my mother Arella. It means messenger angel. ...She's the only angel I ever believed in.
no subject
See. It's not so bad. She...died in my arms. I should have guessed if she really was an angel, it wouldn't go well for me. Castiel saved me.
[He puts his arm around her, his chin on top of her head.] I didn't believe in them either. At all. I wanted to, I suppose, but life seemed too strange for something as simple as religion.

You would have stayed anyway. [She knows Horst, that is part of what makes him so special to her.] Yeah, he does that.
[She nuzzles his neck, just a bit.] In my world, some people think superheros are angels who protect the city. But that's just plain silly.
no subject
He kisses her forehead, and tucks her hair back.] Show me your scar?
no subject
[Raven snorts a bit, not that she didn't expect the request, but sarcasm sometimes makes it easier for her to deal with certain things. That scar and how she got it is one of those.] Now who wants to see the other one strip? [She unclasps her cloak nonetheless and hands it to him.] It's not as impressive as yours. And the story of how I got it might be kinda hard to believe. ...It's more recent than yours too. [Her hands reach for the top of a leotard, her moves calm and steady despite what she's saying.]
no subject
You're telling me in this place that what happened to you might be hard to believe? You must tell me.

[She turns her back to him and bares her left shoulder blade to his sight. Half covered by her bra is a tiny black mark where the skin has visibly been burnt. It looks like a flower stem (http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/853/tattootigefleur.jpg/) somehow. Given her healing abilities and the small size of the mark, it should have vanished long ago. And still it remains as a scar standing out on her pale greyish skin.] One of the Animus gave me a tattoo at the end of my visit of the Inner City. [She looks at him above her shoulder trying to sound casual.] Do you think it's like the ink stamps you get in some night club? Those that say you can get back into the club for free?
no subject
I.... Spatzi--
It doesn't hurt? What happened before they gave it to you?
no subject
When he traces the mark, she sighs. No it doesn't hurt anymore but the slightly burning sensation is still lingering there. The coolness of Horst's fingers feels so nice against her skin.]
As you said I think I should start from the beginning or else it won't make any sense. [A snort.] Azar it barely does as is... At some point during the operation, I had decided to separate from the group to test how far I could get into the Inner City without losing completely the ability to use my powers. At one point, I figured it would be safer to go back and that's when the Animus stepped on the scene and trapped me.
