[The PCD is set on a bedside table, so nothing is really the center of focus. The part of the window in view is carefully boarded up, and the bed is large and clean. And occupied.

Horst wakes the moment the sun is gone, just a twitch of the fingers at first and then a groggy mumble. He rolls onto his side, instinctively moving towards warmth. Yuca is next to him, though very much awake; the PCD can't see much of him at first, though.

Horst's arm snakes around Yuca's waist and pulls him closer.]

Hey. Fancy meeting you here.

...House is quiet. What'd you do with the kids?

[He sees the blinking light, makes a face, and turns the PCD off]

[Regular!Horst would've said that with an edge of panic, but this Horst has had thirteen years to get used to the idea.]

Off and on for...thirteen, fourteen years. The triplets are thirteen; Al's...seventeen, I think.

[And she's starting to get a Very Bad Feeling about this.]

And you've all been together in Adstringendum for... How long again?

Twenty years or so. [Logically, right? Never mind he doesn't remember anything at all before marriage.]

[That's a fact she can definitely say is wrong. Right, people's memories are being rewritten for sure.]

Is anyone else in your family?

Severus. My brother...? He's got more kids than I do.

[Worried frown, now.]

Do you remember who's in your family?

Of course, your brother.

[Should she try to disillusion him? She hasn't decided.]

Of course I know my family. [But that begs the question.] Who do you think is in my family?

[He was hoping she wouldn't ask. He sighs and sits up.]

...Of course I have. At least you know my uncle, Tyki.

[Long pause]

He's my uncle. [Very flat and firm.]

[He clearly doubts that very much, but he's not going to tell that to an obviously very confused girl.]

Then you also know Fox.

Who is Fox?

[Her eyes narrow.] Where do I live, Horst~?

She's your aunt, if Tyki's your uncle. So is Allen--don't you remember?

[He frowns, really worried for her now.] You live in the chateau.

Mmhm. And where does Tyki live?
