[Horst is in his supah fine Victorian clothes, twirling his hat idly] Right. I guess I'll get this started.

Yes, I've been into space, and travelled to other planets a few times.

[She's been in parallel dimensions as well, but she doesn't feel like telling him that just yet. Later maybe.]

[Wince; he'd forgotten about that] And I don't imagine the night life is as much fun as a day at the beach.

[A shrug.] It has its perks... if you're a night creature. Or a clubbing fiend maybe.

Well, there is Tamaran for example. We went there to stop a wedding. That was quite the journey... Oh and I was actually about to crash on some unknow planet when the Animus saw fit to bring me here.

Ah, clubbing...I'm afraid I'm too old to do that more than once a week. If that.

[He laughs abruptly] You went to stop a wedding? How awful was the couple that you had to run to another planet to break them up?

[He's glad the Animus brought her here rather than let her crash, but he doesn't say so--yet. It's in his expression, though.]

Why yes... This is a complicated story in fact. To sum it up, the bride was one of my teammates and she had only agreed to this wedding because she was a princess and betrothed to her future husband. But we eventually found a way out for her and she was able to come back on Earth with the rest of us.

[Well she wasn't about to die in that crash. Quite the contrary, she was going to spend quite a funny day. Since on that that unknown planet live cute little fluffy animals that will adooore her... But well, Horst could difficultly guess that.]

...[To give his real age or the age he appears? Hmmm.] Twenty-five, more or less.

What was her betrothed like?

More or less? Meaning you don't know when you were born? [His hesitation made her a tad bid suspicious too.] I thought women where the only one to lie about their age...

[A shrug.] Some big green blob from yet another planet. I think the wedding was part of a peace treaty or something...

[A smirk.] Why we try and save the world of course. Isn't that what all good superheroes do? ... What about you and your brother? What do you do?

Not at all. I'm very vain. [He realizes that just smiling won't put her at ease, but he'll try that anyway] I was born in 1881. But since we're from different worlds, I doubt that means much here.

Now, when you say it like that you sound so devious. [His chuckle becomes a little forced, then he just gives up on it] My brother kills people and reanimates them. I...well, I don't really do much of anything now.

1881? [She frowns.] Assuming we were from the same timelines that would make you 124 year old. Which is quite difficult to believe given how you look. ...Unless you were turned into an immortal at the begining of the twentieth century and stopped aging ever since. [Raven ain't nothing if not logical.] Do you know how people who are allergic to sunlight and don't age are called nowadays?

[Devious? Have a blink and a stare until... well she blushes. Oh. But she quickly pushes it aside.] He kills people? ...And you never tried to stop him?

Depends; do those people also prefer blood to wine? ...I don't prefer blood, for the record. It doesn't taste nearly so appealing as merlot. Shame I couldn't require that to stay alive.

[For a brief moment, Horst's expression becomes cynical, hateful even] Of course. I had my reasons for trying to help him reach his goals, but when it involved hurting people--well, he locked me in a tomb and I became what I am now.

I wouldn't know. I never tasted either. [But that still answers her question though.]

Horst, I... [She looks shocked. There is so much hate on the man's handsome traits now.] I didn't... Never would have... [And then her eyes seem to glaze over and she turns away from the PCD. Her shoulders start quivering but her voice doesn't tremble as she mutters.] Azar why would he do this to us? This ain't right...
